SERVICES

We offer Training & Engineering Services as follows:

• AutoCAD Training Services:

Hands-on AutoCAD training sessions are on-site.   Training is by laptop based computer and overhead projector with the current release of the AutoCAD software.

Fee:  $650 for a one day presentation divided into two 4-hour sessions with a 5 minute break each hour.

• AutoCAD Drafting Assistance:

     AutoCAD Drafting and Design/Engineering work on and off-site with basic  engineering decisions of routine nature.  Based on mutually agreed precedent or clearly defined procedures and  technical outlines from available specifications.

 Fee: $40/hr

Typical AutoCAD drafting services work examples:

• Converting existing paper-drawn drawings to AutoCAD drawings.
   

• Basic plant and system layout, building and site plan drafting     with relevant sections, elevations and landscape projects for residential and commercial projects.
   

• Outlining and Drafting of given schematics, schedules, flow diagrams and P&ID’s.
   

• Production of operations, assembly, and maintenance manual drawings and illustrations.
   

• Detailed drawings of part from mechanical assemblies and sub assemblies.

I will work from hand-drawn drawings, blue-line plans, redlines, markups, sketches, scanned documents, schematics and diagrams. 

•  Engineering  Assistance:

Engineering/ Project Management assignments to support and assist local engineering staff work related to engineering program & contract management. Assistance in preparation of procurement documents & specifications, proposal evaluations, procurement & sub-contract assignments, alternative comparisons, design reviews and scheduling issues.  

 Fee: $80/hr

General Conditions:

•  Travel & Living Expenses:

All travel and living expenses in connection with on-site training and engineering services are billed at cost plus 10%.

• Overhead Expenses:

Ordinary supplies & use of digital resources are included in the basic rate. Expenses for extraordinary supplies and materials are billed at cost.

•  Payments:

Projects will be billed on a monthly basis with payments expected within 30 days.

•  Confidential Information

I will not divulge any confidential or project related information to third parties.

•  Drafting Standards:

AutoCAD conversion paper source documents are not scanned; they are redrawn while incorporated into a manually drafted AutoCAD drawing, so that each entity appears exactly as the original document.

CAD conversions will conform to a custom designed AutoCAD standard drawing setup procedure unless a customer provides the preferred standard layout and procedure.

•  Work Agreements:

Details of services to be performed should be set out in a formal agreement

I assume responsibility for performing tasks in a competent manner, so that they meet the agreed-upon project objectives.
